Taiwan's and Poland's climates are influenced by a combination of multiple natural forcings, such as Asian Monsoons, westerly winds, and more importantly topography. Their unique geographical locations result in a diverse range of climate zones, contributing significantly to changes in wind, temperature, and precipitation patterns at time scales from a year to decades and longer. These changes are modified by human activities (such as land use changes). The opportunity thus provides a platform to deepen our knowledge of changing climate in different environments and climate regimes, along with to establishing scientific cooperation between Poland and Taiwan.
